Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 The League of Women Voters of LaPorte County will feature Michael Seitz, the Director of the La Porte County Office of Economic Development (LPCOED), at June’s Lunch With The League. The mission of the LPCOED is to expand and diversify the economy of the County and its communities by fostering investment in new and existing facilities and creating entrepreneurial capacity.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Lunch With The League presents timely and relevant discussions about local issues every 2nd Tuesday of the month at noon. Please join us at Patrick's Grille, 4125 S. Franklin, Michigan City. You do not need to be a League of Women Voters member to attend this program. All are invited to join the League of Women Voters at our monthly program. Reservations are not required. Attendees may purchase a lunch of their choice from the menu. Doors open at 11:30 am, and orders will be taken as the tables fill up, so please arrive by 12:00 for the presentation.
